Road Closure in Svor – Changes to Route 400 to the Šluknov Hook

Dear Passengers,

The Road and Highway Administration will close Route I/9 above the town of Svor on June 1 due to construction of the town’s bypass. The road will be closed to all traffic from June 1 through October 16. This will also affect the IDOL 400 long-distance route Prague – Nový Bor – Varnsdorf – Rumburk.

Bus route 400 will operate on the Nový Bor–Dolní Podluží section, bypassing the stops Nový Bor, Liberecká, Svor (turnaround), Svor, Nová Huť, and Jiřetín pod Jedlovou, Lesné, via a detour route through Kamenický Šenov, Chřibská, Rybniště, and Jiřetín pod Jedlovou.

Temporary schedule for Line 400 from June 1 – Svor closure

The temporary schedule is valid until the originally planned date of November 16 and will be adjusted according to the actual end of the closure.

Due to a longer travel time of approximately +15 minutes, the schedule for Line 400 on the Nový Bor–Rumburk section (exceptionally Česká Lípa–Rumburk)has been adjusted to maintain morning arrivals in Varnsdorf (departing earlier from Nový Bor and Česká Lípa), and departures from Rumburk and Varnsdorf have been adjusted so that service on the Nový Bor–Prague section is not affected.

Please note: The 7:30 a.m. school bus to Varnsdorf departs 30 minutes earlier! See the temporary schedule.

Please note that the first morning service from Nový Bor to Prague—i.e., service 400/1004 at 4:05—departs 10 minutes earlier due to road closures near Tupadly and to prevent delays; it departs from Nový Bor at 3:55 a.m., from Česká Lípa at 4:15 a.m., and from Dubá at 4:36 a.m.

Selected services on the Nový Bor–Rumburk / Rumburk–Nový Bor route have been adjusted by 30–60 minutes.

On the detour route, Line 400 also serves the stops Kamenický Šenov, Lidická, Chřibská (square), Rybniště (post office), and Jiřetín pod Jedlovou (square); the IDOL fare applies at all of these stops.

Selected trips begin/end in Cvikov and also serve Svor.

Due to operational reasons, there are also minor changes on other routes:

• Line 240 (Česká Lípa – Liberec), where the afternoon service 240/44 from Jablonné at 2:44 p.m. to Svor (and Varnsdorf) continues to Nový Bor, and the afternoon service 240/17 from Nový Bor to Cvikov at 16:20 departs 10 minutes earlier, at 16:10.
• On Line 240, additional evening connections have also been added to (replacing) the Line 400 service from Prague to Cvikov; on weekdays, the new services will depart at 7:10 p.m., and on weekends at 8:40 p.m. from Nový Bor to Cvikov.

• Line 441 (Nový Bor – Cvikov – Krompach): The afternoon service 441/16 at 4:00 PM from Krompach to Nový Bor will require a transfer in Cvikov on school days (until June 26 and from September 1).
