A small bus that comes to pick you up

In areas with low demand for public transportation, we don’t cancel service—we offer an alternative. TvůjBus IDOL is an on-demand transportation service using a small-capacity vehicle. It doesn’t run empty on a fixed route, but operates within a time window in a specific area and adapts to your needs. Just book it, and the vehicle will come wherever you need it.

How does it work?

  1. Book a ride: In the app or by phone.
  2. We’ll pick you up: The driver will arrive at the agreed-upon location in the specified region.
  3. We’ll take you there: We’ll transport you to your desired address or transfer stop.

How to book TvůjBus:

The fastest way. The app will guide you through the entire process, and you’ll know exactly where the vehicle is.

How to do it:

  1. From where to where: Enter the location manually or let the app detect it via GPS.
  2. When: Select your departure time (you can book up to 24 hours in advance).
  3. Confirmation: The app will show you where and at what time the vehicle will be waiting for you.

Tip: If possible, use the app instead. During rush hour, the dispatch center may be busy handling emergency situations.

When and how TvůjBus operates.

The service operates in two modes to accommodate both occasional trips and regular commutes.

1. On-demand service (ride anytime).

Need to go to the doctor or run errands? In this mode, you can book a trip for any time and along any route within the service area.

2. Guaranteed routes (semi-fixed service).

During school and work hours, TvůjBus operates similarly to a scheduled bus. It has guaranteed times and routes to ensure that children and workers arrive on time where they need to go. During these times, it is not possible to book TvůjBus for a different route.

Do I need to make a reservation?

  • Fixed stops: The departure time is fixed; no booking is required (it operates like a regular bus).
  • On-demand stops: You must book your ride in advance for these stops.
  • You can find the specific breakdown of stops in the operating schedule.

Practical tips for passengers:

Are you transferring to a train or bus?

Don’t miss your connection. Be sure to allow extra time when booking.

  • Recommendation: Enter your desired TvůjBus arrival time at least 10 minutes before the departure of your connecting train or bus.
    • Example: The train departs at 10:00 → Schedule your arrival for 9:50.

What if my connection is delayed?

Are you waiting for your TvůjBus while transferring from a train? We guarantee a wait of at least 5 minutesfor a delayed connection (just like with regular bus routes).

  • In case of a longer delay: Call us at 705 525 999, or cancel your order in the app and place a new one.
  • Please note: For operational reasons, we cannot wait indefinitely.

How much does it cost?

Thestandard IDOL fareapplies here .

  • You pay the same way as on a bus (cash, credit card, Opuscard, or the Idolka app).
  • You do not pay any special surcharges for booking.

    Will I fit in the vehicle?

    TvůjBus is a minibus with a capacity of up to 7 seats. We always try to plan routes to accommodate all passengers who have booked a ride.

    I have a stroller

    Yes, we transport strollers.

    • The driver will stow it depending on its size and the vehicle’s occupancy (usually folded).
    • It’s a good idea to mention this when you book or when arranging the ride with the driver.

    I have a dog or other pet

    • Since TvůjBus is a larger passenger vehicle with limited space, pets may only be transported in a closed carrier with a leak-proof bottom.
    • TvůjBus is not suitable for transporting large dogs. Dogs are not allowed on seats and must not disturb other passengers. In such cases, they may not be transported.
