Description of the Change

ATTENTION CHANGE !!!!!!!

Based on feedback from residents of Stružinec, there will be a change to the temporary schedule for Line 501 starting Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Service 41 has been advanced so that passengers can transfer at the Košťálov u Kosinů stop, or Košťálov, at the intersection near the quarry, to transfer to bus 501/6 (7:20 a.m.). New buses 221 (departing at 5:34 p.m. from Semily) and 222, which connects to it and returns to Semily, have been introduced.

From April 20, 2026, to approximately November 30, 2026, in Lomnice nad Popelkou on 5. května Street, in the section from the town limits in the direction from Stružinec, up to the intersection with Rváčovská Street, reconstruction of this road section—including the reconstruction of utility networks—will take place under a full road closure. The closure will affect bus lines 358, 501, 542, 550, 553, 555, and 966. Buses on these lines will operate according to temporary schedules—see below. Temporary schedules may change during the closure depending on how they are affected by other concurrent closures in the areas through which the routes pass. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor schedule changes on an ongoing basis.

For routes 358, 542, and 966, the changes apply only to services 358/8; 542/13; 555/4, 5, 8; and 966/1, 5 and are due to technical reasons.

Buses on routes 501 and 550 will generally operate on the same schedule as last year, so most transfers to and from Semily on weekdays will take place between these routes at the Slaná, Bořkov, Blaživky stop. This mainly affects residents of Slaná. To serve Stružinec, additional trips on route 501 (trips numbered 2xx) will be provided on weekdays; these will run between the stops Stružinec, Tuhaň,Zelený háj , and Košťálov, u Kosinů, where passengers will also be able to transfer to routes heading toward Semily, Turnov, and Lomnice nad Popelkou. On weekends, service to Slaná and Stružinec, in the direction of Semily and back, will be provided primarily by additional trips on Line 501 (trips numbered 4xx). These trips will run between the stops Stružinec, u rybníka and Semily, Terminál. Most of these services will offer a transfer to Line 550 toward Turnov and back at the Stružinec, Tuhaň, Zelený háj stop.

On weekdays, Line 550 serves platforms 3 and 4 at the Stružinec, Tuhaň, Zelený háj stop; on weekends, it serves platforms 1 and 2, except for service 115.
