Replacement Train Service: Mimoň – Česká Lípa

Description of the Change

Dear Passengers,

Due to bridge closures in Zákupy on bus routes, which have resulted in a complicated and poorly navigable detour, the main line 260 Česká Lípa – Hamr na Jezeře will be replaced by substitute rail service (NVD) on weekdays on the Česká Lípa – Mimoň section.

The replacement trains supplement the regular service of 20 round trips between Česká Lípa and Mimoň with an additional 24 passenger trains.

In total, 32 trains run in each direction on this section on weekdays.

All additional trains connect in Mimoň with the arrival/departure of bus line 260 from Stráž pod Ralskem and the center of Mimoň, or to line 261 from Jablonné, Brniště, and Pertoltice, or lines 267 and 427 from Ralsko and Ploužnice.

Timetable

• All added trains stop at Zákupy-Božíkov;
• the morning school train at 7:01 a.m. from Mimoň continues to the Česká Lípa střelnice stop (7:20), as do the 8:40 a.m. train from Mimoň (střelnice 9:03) and the afternoon trains to and from Mimoň, which run every two hours to the střelnice stop;
• Direct shuttle trains run from Česká Lípa (střelnice) to Mimoň at 14:02, 16:02, 18:02, and 20:02.

Fares are the same as on the bus

Standard IDOL fares apply on all trains—for example, the same fare you’ve already purchased and use on buses between Mimoň and Česká Lípa. Of course, you can purchase tickets on the trains to your destination, such as from Česká Lípa to Hamr na Jezeře, or from Mimoň to Kamenický Šenov.

The additional trains are operated by Arriva vlaky, s.r.o., as are the express trains on the Liberec–Ústí nad Labem route. Low-floor trains are used on the L2 regular passenger route

Service Disruptions

Due to track closures on the Česká Lípa–Nový Bor–Rybniště line on March 31, April 1, and April 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., only evening trains will run to and from the Česká Lípa střelnice stop on these days.
