Get your kids a new personal Opuscard+ in time and without waiting!

Dear Parents,

To avoid lines and uncertainty when ordering a new personal Opuscard+ for your child, we have some tips and instructions on how to do so starting July 1. We recommend handling everything through our e-shop.

  1. Register on thee-shop and log in. You may already have an account from a previous time; if not, log in using the same credentials you use for the Idolka or PID Lítačka apps.

  2. Create aso-called “sub-account”for your child under the age of 15 .

  3. Fill in your child’s information, just as you would for your own account.

  4. Select the “child” fare category, which entitles the child to discounted fares.

  5. Upload a photo of your child that meets the specified requirements and wait for it to be approved.

  6. You can then apply for a personal Opuscard+.

  7. Choose to have it delivered by mail to your address or pick it up in person at a selected location.

However, the child’s profile must be verified in order for the eligibility for a discounted fare to be recognized.

  • Does the applicant have a valid ISIC card? Simply enter the card number when creating and managing the account. This will trigger automatic verification.

  • Does your child not have an ISIC card? In that case, the applicant—or their parent or legal guardian must visit an OPUSCARD service location. They should bring the new Opuscard+ card and the child’s official, valid identification document (birth certificate, ID card, passport). A staff member at the service counter will then change the profile to the appropriate fare category.

How much will you pay for a new personal Opuscard+?

When ordering through the e-shop:

  • 100 CZK (including shipping) through December 31, 2023

When submitting an application at an OPUSCARD service counter:

  • 140 CZK if this is your first application
  • 50 CZK if you still have a valid old Opuscard from 2023
  • 80 CZK if you still have a valid old Opuscard from 2022
  • 110 CZK if you still have a valid old Opuscard from 2021

Making the change is easier than you think.
