What is the difference between carry-on luggage and checked luggage?
Carry-on luggage is smaller (up to 25 × 60 × 80 cm) and is transported free of charge, while checked luggage exceeds these dimensions (max. 50 × 80 × 100 cm) and is subject to a fee. Typical examples of carry-on luggage include bags that fit under the seat or can be held on your lap, strollers with a child or sleds with a child, assistive devices, or skis.
Additional baggage may include, for example, a bicycle, a stroller without a child, or oversized baggage.
Traveling with a stroller:
Transporting a stroller with a child is only possible if the following conditions are met: safety, the vehicle’s technical capabilities, and current occupancy.
Boarding and alighting are permitted with the consent of an authorized person, through doors marked with the symbol or as instructed.
The stroller must be placed in the designated area, secured against movement, and kept under the passenger’s supervision. Please take care not to damage or soil the surrounding area.
How to transport bicycles or scooters?
On trains: in multipurpose compartments or specially designated areas.
On buses: on hanging racks or in specially designated areas.
Folding scooters: You may transport them folded as checked baggage.
