TRANS-BORDERS+ is an improvement to passenger services

The goal of the TRANS-BORDERS+ project is to improve public transportation services for passengers in two European tri-border regions, from which the ten project partners hail—representing five countries (Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, and Slovenia).
On April 15 and 16, a meeting of partners took place in Gorizia, northern Italy, attended by representatives from the Liberec Region as well as our German neighbors from Upper Lusatia.
A pilot route between Gorizia, Italy, and Nova Gorica, Slovenia—whose operation is funded by the TRANS-BORDERS+ project—was presented. In addition, not only were the project’s results to date presented, but also the interconnections and continuity with other projects, and issues related to the public transportation system were discussed.
The TRANS-BORDERS+ project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg Central Europe program.
