The tourist season continues into September!

28. 8. 2023

Set out in September to explore all corners of the Liberec Region.

What are our recommendations?

Take Bus 281 on the Dubá–Dřevčice–Holany–Česká Lípa route, which runs on weekends and holidays through October 1, 2023. You can bring up to 6 bicycles on this bus. It will comfortably take you to the Peklo Valley, the Holany Ponds, rocky gorges, and hiking trails around Dubá, and connects to Route 400. This interregional route from Prague to Liberec now departs from Stop B on Vysočanská Street, at the regular bus stops for public transit lines heading toward Kobylisy.

Route 469 operates on weekends and holidays through October 1, 2023, and can also carry up to 6 bicycles. It runs three times a day between Česká Lípa, Sloup, Nový Bor, Kamenický Šenov, Česká Kamenice, and Jetřichovice.

Route 697 from Mšeno to Dubá and Staré Splavy runs twice a day on weekends throughout September. It connects the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area and the Máchův Kraj region, which offer a wide range of attractive destinations. You can also head to the Bohemian Paradise or the Maloskalsko region, where routes 342, 864, and 391 will take you—bicycles included. Another great option is a trip to the Krkonoše Mountains. You can take bus line 990, “Krkobus,” which—on weekends through October 1—allows you to transport up to 20 bicycles. Or take routes 991 and 995, which serve the unique Zlaté návrší stop—the highest-elevation stop in the Liberec Region—from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding area. And if that’s not enough, you can head to the Jizera Mountains in September using routes 395 and 795.
