The season is starting: Route 697 connects Mšeno, Houska Castle, and Máchovo Lake.

Starting Saturday, April 25, 2026, seasonal service on Line 697 will begin on the Mšeno–Dubá–Doksy–Staré Splavy route. The route serves tourist attractions such as the municipal spa in Mšeno, Houska Castle, and the recreational area near Máchovo Lake.
Bicycle Transport The routes are served by minibuses equipped with a rack for 4 bicycles. Service with bicycle transport will be available through September 28, 2026, and the number of these trips will be further expanded during the summer vacation period.

Access to Houska Castle: Most buses stop at the Tubož, rybník stop (2.2 km from the castle). Only a select bus at 10:07 a.m. toward Mšeno and at 5:25 p.m. toward Doksy goes directly to the castle (Horní Houska stop).

Fares: The IDOL and PID fare systems apply on this line according to their respective coverage areas. Connections to train services are available in Doksy and Mšeno.
