The season begins: Route 864 offers weekend service with bicycle transport
29. 4. 2026
The Besedice Rocks and the Kalich and Chléviště rock labyrinths are among the most popular destinations in the Bohemian Paradise. Thanks to their location on the ridge, they offer a unique combination of sandstone rock formations and sweeping views. To reach this area, you can use the seasonal IDOL bus service, which makes access easier for both hikers and cyclists.
Transportation and Bike Transport:
The main route into the area is bus line 864 (Turnov – Klokočí – Koberovy – Železný Brod).
Bus stop: Koberovy, Besedice (located in the immediate vicinity of the rock city).
Cyclists: Selected weekend and holiday buses from late April through September are equipped with racks for 6 bicycles. Getting off at Besedice is ideal for those who want to avoid the strenuous climb out of the valley and plan to follow the ridge route.
