Special Rides on the Historic Train with the T 426.0 Rack-and-Pinion Locomotive

Event Date: November 1 Route: Tanvald – Kořenov – Harrachov

After two years, the T 426.0 “Rakušanky” rack-and-pinion locomotives can return to the Tanvald–Kořenov–Harrachov line, which underwent extensive reconstruction this year (including replacement of the rack). The event will take place the very next day after construction work is completed, which may make the ride all the more interesting for you.

A Spooky Halloween on the Railroad...

• A spooky surprise awaits you in one of the cars (the train is open-plan, so you won’t miss the surprise).
• Spooky decorations will also be set up at the Kořenov station, especially in the station building’s lobby.
• Don’t forget to visit the Rack Railway Museum and the Kořenov Locomotive Depot, which will feature a special program.

From Hradec Králové all the way to Kořenov—this time via Stará Paka—an autumn ride awaits you, full of beautiful views, nostalgia, and a railway atmosphere you won’t experience anywhere else.
