The Railway Administration has released the 2026 timetables

The Railway Administration has published train schedules valid from December 14, 2025, to December 12, 2026. We recommend that all passengers take note of the new schedules. The following major changes have been made in the Liberec Region:

Line 089 Liberec – Hrádek nad Nisou – Zittau

• A new timetable will be introduced on the RE2 Liberec–Dresden and L7 Liberec–Varnsdorf–Seifhennersdorf lines. Unfortunately, not all work on the line will be completed on time, and after service resumes, there may be partial restrictions during the trial operation; these will be specified and published based on the current progress of construction.
• Service will be more regular. On weekdays, priority will be given to direct connections between Liberec and Varnsdorf; on weekends, every other train will run directly to Dresden.
• Travel times will be reduced; between Liberec and Varnsdorf, the journey will be shortened by approximately 10 minutes, bringing it in line with the time it takes to drive.
• A transfer hub will be established in Zittau. Passengers will now be able to transfer between trains in all directions every full hour. This will provide Liberec with hourly connections to Dresden, Görlitz, and Berlin, with travel times comparable to those of a car trip.

Line 036 Liberec – Harrachov – Szklarska Poręba Górna

• On the cross-border section of Line L1, the number of connections or operating days per year will be increased.

Line 037 Liberec – Nové Město pod Smrkem – Jindřichovice pod Smrkem

• Following an evaluation of the trial operation and the further development of the on-demand transport service TvůjBus, train service on Route 037 between Nové Město pod Smrkem and Jindřichovice pod Smrkem will be reduced on weekdays.
