The L24 Mácháč weekend route will be back in service starting Saturday

As is now tradition during the summer holidays, take the Mácháč to Mácháč.
Line L24 provides a direct train connection between Liberec and Doksy every summer weekend and on national holidays.
An interesting fact is that this direct connection is made possible by the approximately one-kilometer-long “Žízníkovská spojka” spur line, which connects the tracks from Liberec and Mladá Boleslav before they reach Česká Lípa; until the introduction of the L24 line, it served (and continues to do so during the off-season) exclusively for freight trains.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for nice weather for swimming, and don’t forget to pack your phone with the Idolka app or your Opuscard along with your beach towel.
