How do I search for a connection in the Idolka app?
Finding the right connection within the Liberec Region has never been easier. The Idolka app is designed to save you time and make it easier to navigate the IDOL transit network.

Smart search that understands you
You don’t have to type out the full names of stops. Our autocomplete feature is smart and recognizes what you’re looking for based on the first few letters you type.

Tip for speedsters: Use abbreviations with spaces. For example, if you type “j n n,” the app will immediately suggest Jablonec nad Nisou, and then you can simply select the stop you want from the list.

Note: Naturally, in larger cities, the app will offer a wider selection of specific stops from which you can choose the right one.
Using Your Current Location
If you don’t know the name of the nearest stop, let the technology handle it.

First, enter your destination in the search field (you can use the smart autocomplete feature again).

Then, select “Turn on Location Services” as your starting point (if you haven’t already enabled them).

The app will use GPS to automatically determine your current location, find the nearest stops, and immediately generate departure times to your destination.
- Confirm the stop you want to depart from, and the app will immediately display ticket options for your selected route.
Track connections in real time
With Idolka, delays won’t catch you off guard. You can track the current location of vehicles on a map right in the app. This gives you a perfect overview of where your bus or train is right now and how long it will actually take to arrive.
