Testing the Iveco Crossway City bus on Route 101

In cooperation with Jablonecká dopravní, ČSAD Slaný, and bus manufacturer IVECO, we are testing the Crossway City vehicle on Route 101 from March 11 to 23. The bus is partially low-entry and can be considered a “hybrid” between a city bus and a commuter bus.

It has three doors for convenient boarding and alighting and more seats than a city bus.

This or a similar type of bus could be deployed on Route 101 starting in February 2028, when Route 101 will be extended all the way to Liberec. However, a classic city bus is also being considered.

Since this is a loaned test vehicle, it is not fully equipped with our standard ticketing and information system.
