Terminal in Semily Ready for Operation

On Sunday, December 8, an official preview took place in Semily, marking significant changes to public transportation. The grand opening of the bus terminal, located directly next to the Semily train station on Line 030 (Liberec–Turnov–Jaroměř–Hradec Králové), will enable direct transfers between trains and buses from a single platform.
The new bus terminal replaces the old bus station, which was located a considerable walking distance away. In addition to barrier-free platforms for both trains and buses, the terminal will be equipped with a multifunctional information system displaying train and bus departure times. The station building also features a waiting area with a ticket counter, where IDOL integrated transportation customer services are provided.
Starting December 15, 2024, bus routes will no longer use the existing bus station and will move to the new terminal called “Semily, Terminal,” which is also the new name that will replace the existing “Semily, Train Station” stop.
