How much will it cost?

The combined ticket is valid for a ride on bus line 79 to Ještěd and the subsequent descent via the Skalka cable car back to Hanychov.

Standard ticket: 140 Kč.

Reduced-rate ticket (children, students, 65+): 100 Kč.

Important: You can purchase the ticket directly from the bus driver, and payment for this combined ticket is accepted in cash only.

Route 79 Schedule for 2026:

• April and October: Service on weekends and state-recognized holidays at one-hour intervals.
• May, June, and September: Daily service at one-hour intervals.
• July and August: Daily service at 30-minute intervals.
• Departure times are also coordinated with connections to the tram line from the center of Liberec, which passes by the train station. This ensures public transportation access even from more distant parts of the Liberec Region. The line is wheelchair-accessible but is not designed to transport bicycles.

Skalka Cable Car Operating Schedule for 2026:

If you plan to take the cable car back, please note the operating hours for each month:

• April: The cable car operates on weekends (Saturdays–Sundays)
• May: Operates on weekends and on public holidays (May 1 and May 8, 2026).
• June: The cable car operates from Friday through Sunday.
• July and August: Daily service is available.
• September and October: Runs on weekends and on selected holidays (September 28 and October 26–28, 2026).
