The new 2025/2026 academic year is here! Whether you’re returning to the university or starting out this year, we’ve put together a summary of important information to help you get off to the smoothest start possible.
Transportation with IDOL
The Liberec Region Integrated Transportation System (IDOL) will come in handy when traveling for your studies. As students under 26, you’re eligible for a 50% student fare discount, whether you commute daily or just occasionally.
How to Get the IDOL Student Fare: Age Category 18–26 (students):
To purchase a ticket, you must have a valid ISIC card or a valid student/pupil ID card with you.
Setting up a student profile:
To receive the student discount, you must set up a student profile on your card or in the Idolka app.
There are two ways to do this:
- Online in the Idolka app or on the e-shop—simply upload a valid ISIC card.
- In person at an Opuscard service center—you must present a valid ISIC card or a valid student/pupil ID.
Important: If the cardholder turns 18 during the coupon’s validity period, you must present a valid student ID or ISIC card when purchasing the coupon
Ticket inspection.
During any inspection, you must present a valid ISIC card or student/pupil ID.
TIP: At Opuscard contact points, you can verify your identity using eDoklad.
