Student discounts through the online store.

Students aged 18–26 are eligible for a discount based on proof of ongoing education at an accredited educational institution until they turn 26 (i.e., the day before their 26th birthday), Eligibility for the discounted fare applies regardless of the purpose of the trip, including days off and school vacations.

Reduced fares for the 18–26 age group apply to single-ride tickets as well as multi-ride and network passes.

The provision of special fares for students and the issuance and verification of student IDs are governed by the rules set forth in the Ministry of Finance Decree specified in Article 1.1.

Eligibility for the discount must be proven with a valid student ID or a valid ISIC card at the time of purchase of a single-ride ticket, season pass, or network pass; at the time of boarding; or during a random inspection by transportation authorities.

How do I prove my eligibility for the student single-ride fare?

• When purchasing a single-ride ticket, present your valid ISIC or student ID to the ticket counter attendant, driver, or train conductor and request the student fare.

How do I prove eligibility for the student fare when purchasing a multi-ride or network pass?

• When purchasing a pass at an Opuscard Contact Point ticket counter, present your valid ISIC or student ID to the ticket counter attendant and request a student pass.
• When purchasing a coupon in the e-shop or via the Idolka mobile app, you can link your valid ISIC card directly to your IDOL e-shop account. The student discount will be applied automatically online.
