Service disruption between Turnov, Železný Brod, and Tanvald.
1. 4. 2025
Starting April 8, there will be extensive service disruptions on the railway line between Turnov, Železný Brod, and Tanvald due to construction work.
During this time, all trains will be replaced by substitute bus service.
- At the same time, there will be a change in long-distance service—new direct express trains between Liberec and Prague will be introduced, ensuring more comfortable travel without the need to transfer in Turnov.
- Trains R14A (Liberec–Pardubice) and L3 (Liberec–Jaroměř) will be replaced by NAD buses between Turnov and Železný Brod.
- R21 express trains (Prague–Tanvald) will be replaced by two bus routes:
Turnov – Železný Brod – Tanvald
Železný Brod – Jesenný (advance reservations required for larger groups) - Bicycle transport will be available only to a limited extent; on some routes, it will not be possible.
- At least one low-floor vehicle will be available in each replacement transport group to ensure accessibility for people with limited mobility and parents with strollers.
- During the closure, departure times will change, and transfers between trains and replacement buses will take place in front of the station buildings in Turnov, Železný Brod, and Tanvald.
