News on TvůjBus On-Demand Transportation

The TvůjBus service between Nové Město and Jindřichovice pod Smrkem continues, but we’re working on some new features.

From 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., the service will operate in a “semi-fixed” schedule to ensure children are transported to school on time. In the afternoon, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., we will again transport children home with guaranteed departure times. For on-demand transportation, the vehicle will be available between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and then from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

How does the TvůjBus service work?

• This is an on-demand transportation service that adapts to your transportation needs and requirements.
• Passengers book a ride within a defined area; the carrier will pick them up and transport them as requested.

How do I book TvůjBus?

• Through the TvůjBus IDOL mobile app, which intuitively guides you through the entire booking process:
• locating the pickup location via GPS or by manual entry,
• easily search for the destination (including a map option),
• selecting the time of the planned trip (up to 24 hours in advance),
• notifying the passenger where and at what time the vehicle will arrive.
• By placing an order by phone through the IDOL Central Dispatch Center at 704 702 000; however, for greater flexibility, we recommend placing a separate order through the app (the dispatch center may be busy handling other transportation situations at the time of your order).

What is the difference between the on-demand and semi-fixed modes?

• During the on-demand service period, you can book a ride at any time on any route.
• During semi-fixed service periods, the route (or part of it) and departure/arrival times are guaranteed to meet regular transportation demand, such as transportation to and from school.

Example: At 6:30 a.m., a vehicle departs from Nové Město for Horní Řasnice and Jindřichovice so that at 7:00 a. m., transportation from Jindřichovice to Nové Město for school is provided, with a guaranteed arrival at 7:20 a.m. After 2:00 p.m., departures from Nové Město to Jindřichovice and back are guaranteed.

• Within the semi-fixed service, there are two options for serving stops:
  • Information on how to place an order is provided in the operating regulations.
• Fixed – the departure time from the stop is guaranteed, and no prior booking is required.
• On-demand – You must book your ride in advance.

What should I do if I need to transfer to a train or another bus?

• In such cases, we recommend specifying the desired arrival time at least 10 minutes before the departure of the connecting service.

Example: If the connecting service departs at 10:00, we recommend scheduling your booking for arrival by 9:50.

What should I do if I need to transfer from a bus or train to on-demand transportation and my connection is delayed?

• As with regular public transportation, we are prepared to guarantee connections within the waiting time limits. The minimum guaranteed waiting time is 5 minutes. In the event of a longer delay, we recommend calling 704 702 000 or canceling your order and placing a new one.
• ATTENTION! As with regular public transportation, we cannot guarantee unlimited waiting times. If necessary, please contact the Central Dispatch Center.

What are the fares for TvůjBus?

• The IDOL fare applies, and you’ll check in on the vehicle just as you would on a regular bus.
• The carrier does not charge any special fees or surcharges for TvůjBus.

What is the capacity of a TvůjBus vehicle?

• Transportation is provided by a vehicle with a capacity of 6–7 passenger seats. In the event of a breakdown or the use of a smaller vehicle, care is taken to ensure that all transportation requirements specified in the orders are met.

Can I bring a stroller?

• Yes, you can bring a stroller. Depending on its size and by arrangement with the TvůjBus driver, the stroller can be transported when folded.

What does it mean that TvůjBus is replacing regular public transportation in this area?

Starting Sunday, December 14 (or Monday, December 15)

• trains between Nové Město and Jindřichovice will not be running on weekdays;
• the regular bus line 672 between Nové Město and Jindřichovice will not be operating, nor will the buses at 6 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.;
• service on the Srbská route 670 will be limited.
