New Route 692: Frýdlant – Bogatynia – Zittau

5. 1. 2026

Starting in January 2026, a new bus route, No. 692, will serve the tri-border region of the Liberec Region, Germany, and Poland, connecting the Frýdlant area, Bogatynia, Sieniawka, and Porajów in Poland with Zittau in Germany.

  • The new bus service offers 7 round trips on weekdays at 2-hour intervals.
  • The schedule is designed to allow transfers at the Zittau hub to trains bound for Liberec (IDOL), Varnsdorf, Dresden, and Gottbus. In Frýdlant, passengers can primarily transfer to bus routes serving other parts of the Frýdlant region.
  • Service runs from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Early morning and late evening connections between Bogatynia and Liberec are provided by Line 645.
  • On line 692, the IDOL fare applies with rules for inter-regional overlaps; that is, you can purchase an IDOL ticket from the Liberec Region to Poland or Germany, but for travel within Poland or Germany, you must purchase a ticket according to the route-based fare. However, valid IDOL tickets can be used for these trips.
  • On route 692 (and also 691), you can purchase route-based tickets in EUR and PLN.

In combination with the existing weekend route 691 Zittau – Frýdlant – Świradów-Zdrój, this significantly improves connections between the Frýdlant region and other regions, eliminating the need to travel through Liberec. At the same time, it improves access to the Liberec Region, particularly for Polish neighbors.
