Let's Travel Thoughtfully Using Public Transportation
8. 11. 2024
Traveling by public transportation also means sharing a very small space on the vehicle. This is precisely why we have a responsibility to treat one another with respect.
Let’s review a few simple rules that will make the trip more pleasant for all of us!
Waiting, Boarding, and Exiting:
- At the stop, stay alert and stand away from the edge of the road or tracks. When boarding, let passengers get off first and make room for them.
- Give priority to older adults, people with disabilities, and parents with strollers. Don’t hesitate to offer help.
- Do not board or get off at the last minute.
- Passengers who wish to get off should always signal their intention by pressing the bell button well in advance of the stop.
After getting off, cross the street only at a crosswalk and only after the vehicle you arrived in has passed. This way, drivers of oncoming cars will see you.
It’s best to cross the street only after the vehicle has left the stop; this makes pedestrians more visible to other drivers.
If you are not satisfied with the carrier’s services, you can file a complaint with the carrier directly, via email at info@korid.cz, or by calling the helpline at +420 488 588 788.
Together, we can make public transit safer and more enjoyable for everyone!
