What is the difference between checked baggage and carry-on baggage?
And how do you transport a stroller or a bicycle?
Read on to learn everything you need to know.
Checked Baggage and Carry-On Baggage:
Carry-on baggage (max. 25 × 60 × 80 cm), bags, strollers with a child or sleds, assistive devices, skis—transportation is free.
Checked baggage (50 × 80 × 100 cm and larger), bicycles, and strollers without a child—transportation is subject to a fee.
Strollers:
Boarding and alighting are permitted with the consent of an authorized person, through doors marked with a symbol or as instructed.
The stroller must be placed in the designated area, secured against movement, and kept under the passenger’s supervision. Please ensure that the surrounding area is not damaged or soiled.
Where to place bicycles and scooters:
On trains: in multipurpose compartments or specially designated areas.
On buses operating on routes that transport bicycles: on hanging racks or in specially designated areas.
Folding scooters: You may transport them folded as checked baggage.
