Head to the Hejnice Festival this weekend!

The Hejnice Festival is a traditional event held to celebrate the consecration of the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. This year, the festival will once again feature a packed music program, including performances by the band Vesna, Marpa & Troublegang, and Leona Machálková, as well as a funfair, food stands, and a craft fair. To make it easier for you to get to the Festival by public transportation, the following routes have been reinforced: On Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., all regular trains from Liberec and Raspenava to Hejnice will run more frequently. On the Liberec–Raspenava section, three-car Stadler trains will run, two of which will continue without a transfer to Hejnice and Bílý Potok p. S. The same applies in the opposite direction. On Saturday, special trains will be introduced for the return trip from Hejnice to Liberec; the last train departs at 11:20 p.m. According to a special schedule, the historic “Hurvínek” railcar—originally a third-class car with wooden benches—will run from Raspenava via Hejnice to Bílý Potok pod Smrkem, departing at 7:40 a.m. from Česká Lípa.
