Group Travel: School Trips and Other Trips

Are you planning a trip to Ještěd with your school class, preschool, sports club, or other organized group using Bus Line 79? There is increased demand for this route during this time of year, so we ask all organizers to book transportation as soon as possible.

Booking early is key to ensuring that everyone fits comfortably on the bus. Notifying us of your group in advance allows us to flexibly increase the capacity of Line 79 services.

This “the sooner, the better” rule applies to all group trips within the IDOL system. An overview of the rules for buses and trains can be found below.

Bus Transportation

When transporting groups of 10 or more passengers, you must book your trip at least 2 business days in advance.

• Important: Please keep in mind that many other groups are planning trips during this period. Therefore, book as far in advance as possible, even if you still have time before the “two-day” deadline.

• What to include: The specific route, date, time, and total number of passengers.

Rail Transport

For groups of 20 or more passengers, transportation must be booked in advance.

• Important Notice: This year, there is an increased number of track closures and the provision of replacement bus service (NAD). During these periods, booking conditions may change, so we strongly recommend making arrangements as far in advance as possible.

• Cancellation: In the event of a trip cancellation, please notify us of the cancellation in a timely manner to ensure sufficient capacity for other groups.
