Get your Opuscard+ card in time and avoid the September lines!

You can use your Opuscard+ personal card with a photo as an identifier for multi-day Časovka and Síťovka passes. This is the most cost-effective option for regular travel, such as to school or work.

You can easily obtain an Opuscard+ at an “OPUSCARD” service center or through the IDOL e-shop. It takes only a few days to issue the card, and the finished card is mailed directly to your mailbox. You can add a time-based pass to it at a service center or conveniently through the e-shop from home. Once you’ve loaded funds onto it, it also serves as an electronic wallet for paying individual fares within the IDOL network.

If you don’t use Time Passes or Network Passes but purchase individual fares, we have good news for you. You can purchase an anonymous Opuscard+ at OPUSCARD service centers, where they’ll load the amount of your choice onto the card while you wait. You can start using the card during the summer break to travel within the IDOL network. Fares paid from the electronic wallet are discounted compared to cash payments.

Age Group: 6–18 years

• They are eligible for the discount based on age, regardless of the purpose of the trip.
• Children under 15 do not need to provide any proof of age when boarding.
• Passengers over 15 years of age must provide proof of age with an official document (ID card, passport, birth certificate, or student ID with validity confirmed by the carrier or an Opuscard contact point) when purchasing a single-ride ticket.

Important information regarding card issuance for children under 15 years of age.

The card must be applied for by a legal guardian, who must present documents for both themselves and the child:

• Parent/legal guardian: ID card, passport, or birth certificate.
• For the child: ID card, passport, or birth certificate (a copy is acceptable).
• a photo of the child, if the child is not accompanying you

Important information regarding card issuance for children over 15 years of age.

To become eligible for discounted fares on your Opuscard+, you must complete the following one-time steps:

• Visit an Opuscard service center. Either the applicant (a person over 15 years of age) or their parent/legal guardian must be present.
• Bring the following with you:
• a new Opuscard+ card, which can be ordered online at the IDOL e-shop
• a valid form of identification for the child for whom the discount is being requested (ID card, passport, birth certificate, or student ID with confirmed validity).
• If the cardholder is not present, the legal guardian must bring a photograph of the cardholder.

Based on these documents, the counter staff will change the card’s profile to the appropriate fare category.

How do I prove my eligibility for the student fare?

• ISIC

If you have a valid ISIC card and want to manage your subscription online, you do not need to verify your eligibility at service centers. Simply prove your eligibility for the discount online through the e-shop.

• A student ID card that is valid for the current school year and extends into September of the following school year.
