Do you use public transportation? Be considerate of others!
13. 11. 2024
To make traveling by public transportation more pleasant and ensure that everything runs smoothly, please be respectful of the driver and your fellow passengers. Let’s go over some of the basic rules that we automatically agree to follow when boarding a vehicle:
- Have a valid ticket and keep it with you at all times.
- Do not obstruct the driver’s view or distract him or her.
- Board and exit only at stops. Do not open the doors while the vehicle is in motion!
- Hold on when standing, or take a seat. There is a risk of falling during sudden stops.
- Offer your seat to those who need it—pregnant women, seniors, and people with limited mobility.
- Make room on the bus for strollers and passengers in wheelchairs.
- Take your backpack off your back and hold smaller bags in your hand to keep the aisle clear.
- Be quiet and considerate—loud phone calls, music, shouting, or eating are not allowed on public transportation.
- Transport pets safely—in a closed carrier or with a muzzle.
- Do not inconvenience other passengers by bumping into them, crowding them, etc.
- To board with a stroller or bicycle, use the doors designated for this purpose. Please inform the driver before boarding.
Thank you for following the rules and helping to ensure a comfortable and safe journey!
