Czech Railways Service Disruptions

- The railway operator, Správa železnic, s. o., announces a track closure on railway line No. 040, Chlumec nad Cidlinou–Trutnov, in the section between Stará Paka – Martinice v Krkonoších, from June 17 to October 14, 2024.

- Furthermore, the railway operator Správa železnic, s. o. announces a nighttime closure on railway line No. 036 Liberec – Harrachov – Szklarska Poręba Górna, which will take place on the section between Smržovka – Tanvald on June 13, 2024, from 10:50 p.m. until June 14, 2024, at 3:45 a.m.
The purpose of the closure is to replace defective rails in the affected section. The carrier, České dráhy, a. s., must therefore take the following measures:
Trains Os 2672 and Os 2674 will be replaced by substitute bus service on the Smržovka–Tanvald–Desná / Desná–Riedlova vila section.
Locations of the replacement bus stops:
Smržovka – in front of the station building at the “Smržovka, žel.st.” bus stop
Smržovka-Luční – at the “Smržovka, žel. zast. Luční” bus stop
Smržovka Střed – at the “Smržovka, Střední Smržovka” bus stop
Smržovka Dolní Station – at the “Smržovka, Dolní Smržovka, u Ráje” bus stop
Tanvald Stop – on Krkonošská Street near the “Špičák” shopping center
Tanvald – at the “Tanvald, Terminal by the Train Station” bus stop (stop 6)
Desná/Desná-Riedlova Villa – at the “Desná, centrum” bus stop
