The Liberec Region Approved a Contract with the Rail Operator Through 2033
The Liberec Region Council has approved a new contract with Czech Railways to provide train service on the Jizerské Hory Railway. The contract will take effect in December 2026, when the current contract expires, and will remain in force until 2033. With this, the Liberec Region guarantees even higher-quality rail services for residents and visitors. A significant change is the addition of nine more Stadler railcars to the existing fleet. This will mark the end of Regionova train operations on that line.
