Changes to the IDOL Rate Plan

At the end of 2025, two changes to the IDOL fare system are planned, specifically regarding its territorial coverage and fare prices.

With the change in schedules effective December 14, 2025 , a significant expansion of the IDOL network’s territorial coverage via train lines will take place in cooperation with the Ústí nad Labem Region.

• On Line 086 (U11), the IDOL coverage will be extended from Úštěk to Litoměřice.
• On Line 080 (Lines L4 and R22), the IDOL coverage will be extended from Jedlová to Rumburk via Krásná Lípa.

In both cases, these are lines originating in Česká Lípa, and the IDOL and DÚK fare zones on both lines will create an overlapping section, with the DÚK fare zone also being extended to Česká Lípa. Passengers are already familiar with this type of overlap from train lines L2 and R14 between Česká Lípa and Děčín.
In addition to train service, IDOL bus routes to Varnsdorf, Česká Kamenice, and Jetřichovice provide connections to the Ústí nad Labem Region; however, these routes are currently only included in the IDOL fare zone, without the option to sell or electronically validate DÚK tickets.

The extension of the IDOL fare zone to Rumburk expands the range of affordable fares for passengers from the Liberec Region traveling to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and also improves access to the Lusatian Mountains. The route to Litoměřice opens up the entirely new regions of the Czech Central Mountains and the Elbe River Basin for IDOL users.

• For technical reasons related to the expansion of the tariff’s territorial coverage, we ask passengers to wait until December 14, 2025, to purchase time-based tickets for the new routes in the Varnsdorf–Rumburk area.

Effective January 1, 2026, the fare schedule for most IDOL fare items will be adjusted for the first time in two years, in line with the average inflation rate over the previous two years. At the same time, new IDOL products will be introduced.

• For individual tickets and time-limited passes valid for 7, 30, 90, and 366 days, fares will increase by approximately 5%.
• The exception is the 366-day network-wide “Síťovka” pass, whose price has remained unchanged for a long time.
• A new single-ride ticket valid for 72 hours is being introduced to meet demand driven by the trend toward short-term tourist stays. The main advantage of this ticket is the ease of purchase, as no registration is required.
• A discounted 366-day network pass is being introduced for holders of a War Veteran Certificate.
• A new offering is the ABONENT fare product. This is a discounted network-wide fare intended for passengers who use IDOL services on a long-term basis. Eligibility for this fare is established by committing to purchase 12 consecutive 30-day time coupons. The main benefit is thus obtaining an affordable “annual” fare with the cost spread over 12 payments, or the option to continue with subsequent coupons at the discounted rate.
  Starting December 15, 2025, Type A Opuscard Contact Points will facilitate the transition to the ABONENT fare type upon signing a contract; subsequently, the option to sign the contract online will be introduced as of the announcement date.
• Effective January 1, 2026, the price list for EURO-NISA-Ticket+ international tourist tickets will also change.
