Safety first. If you’re not seated, you should always hold onto a handrail or pole. It’s important to know where the exit is and what part of the route the bus is currently on (watch the LCD screen and listen for the audio announcement of the next stop). Also, don’t forget to signal the driver in advance that you want to get off at the next stop—you must signal to the driver to get off.
