Additional train services to increase capacity on school days during the school field trip season.

May and June are the months for school field trips and hiking excursions. To ensure your journey of discovery goes smoothly and without overcrowding, we’ve prepared a series of additional services and extended routes for you from May 11 to June 29, 2026.

Whether you’re heading with your whole class to the rocks of Bohemian Paradise, to Mácha Lake, or to the ridges of the Podkrkonoší Mountains, these extra services will get you there more comfortably:

L34 Liberec – Turnov – Rovensko pod Troskami (routes 030, 041)

• Runs on weekdays from May 11 to June 29, 2026
• Morning extra service from Liberec toward the Bohemian Paradise (train returns in the morning)
• Throughout the day, you can also use the reinforced V50 line from Jičín to Turnov for the return trip and then transfer to trains heading toward Liberec
• Recommended fare: The IDOL transfer pass is valid up to Jičín

030 Jaroměř – Liberec

041 Hradec Králové – Jičín – Turnov

L34 Liberec – Turnov – Rovensko pod Troskami (lines 030, 041)

• Runs on weekdays from May 11 to June 29, 2026
• Morning extra service from Liberec toward Český ráj (train returns in the morning)
• Throughout the day, you can also use the reinforced V50 service from Jičín to Turnov for the return trip and then transfer to trains heading toward Liberec
• Recommended fare: The IDOL transfer pass is valid as far as Jičín

U11 (Postoloprty -) Litoměřice – Úštěk - Česká Lípa (– Doksy), (lines 087, 080)

• Additional service to the Mácha Region from the Ústí Region and Česká Lípa
• Extension of the service from Česká Lípa to Doksy on weekdays from May 11 to June 25, 2026 (departure from Litoměřice at 8:13 a.m.)
• For the return trip, you can use Line L4 services throughout the day, transferring to Line U11 in Česká Lípa
• Recommended fare: The IDOL transfer pass is valid from Litoměřice to Mladá Boleslav

080 Mladá Boleslav – Jedlová

087 Litoměřice Upper Station – Česká Lípa

L3 Liberec – Semily – Stará Paka (- Jaroměř), (Route 030)

• The year-round schedule is in effect
• For the 8:30 a.m. departure from Liberec from June 1 to June 25, 2026, train capacity on the Liberec–Semily section will be increased by one additional car
• Throughout May and June, ARRIVA will also announce increased capacity on existing trains on the R14 line
• Recommended fare: The IDOL transfer ticket is valid up to Stará Paka (or Horka u Staré Paky)

030 Jaroměř – Liberec

L5 Stará Paka – Lomnice nad Popelkou (- Ploužnice), (lines 046, 064)

• Morning extension of the service from Lomnice nad Popelkou to Ploužnice (service departing from Stará Paka at 8:30 a.m.)
• Runs Thursdays, May 14 – June 25, 2026
• Ideal for walking back along the hiking trails from Ploužnice via Tábor to the train connection in Lomnice nad Popelkou
• Recommended fare: IDOL transfer pass

046 Lomnice nad Popelkou – Stará Paka

064 Mladá Boleslav – Lomnice nad Popelkou

S36 Mladá Boleslav – Lomnice nad Popelkou (Route 064)

• 3 pairs of trains connecting Mladá Boleslav – Sobotka – Lomnice nad Popelkou (several tourist destinations along the route)
• Service is available on Fridays from June 5 to June 26, 2026; suitable for travel from both the Liberec Region and the Central Bohemian Region
• Recommended fare: IREDO or the carrier’s fare (IDOL fare only for trips from the Liberec Region to Libuň)

064 Mladá Boleslav – Lomnice nad Popelkou

We recommend that passengers use the IDOS search engine or the Idolka mobile app to find connections (provided the desired connection falls within the IDOL service area).

Please note that school groups must be reported to the carrier in advance so that the carrier can prepare for a larger number of passengers if necessary.
