A fraudulent Facebook page

A fraudulent page has appeared on Facebook that uses stolen photos and logos to try to imitate the Liberec Region Integrated Transportation page.
It promotes a nonexistent marketing campaign for the Opuscard, and the creator has included a lot of nonsense that immediately reveals this to be nothing but a scam, intended to scam curious users or those interested who click on the link (which we are deliberately not showing) and are then asked to provide sensitive information.

Please note that IDOL’s single-ride and time-based fares are fixed based on approval from the Liberec Region and the individual cities with integrated public transit systems. No “unique opportunity for Liberec residents” is being offered!

Social media platforms are constantly targeted by scammers who sometimes pose as celebrities and other times as service providers, offering miraculously cheap products. Unfortunately, there aren’t many ways to defend against these activities. Fraudulent pages and fake “users” are reported to the platform operators, but they are not usually blocked quickly.
