A Festive "Potato Saturday" on the Zubačka with Idol!

A packed program is in store for you on September 28 in Kořenov. In addition to tastings of potato delicacies, Potato Saturday will offer plenty of fun for the whole family:
- a demonstration of Martin Čejchan’s RC race car
- a gingerbread workshop
- aerobics demonstrations at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Rack-and-pinion Railway Museum
- Kořenov Locomotive Depot
- Mining Railway
- Rides on historic buses to Jizerka and Příchovice
- A wide variety of refreshments and market stalls
As part of the celebrations marking IDOL’s 15th anniversary, we’ll also take you through the history of integrated public transportation in the Liberec Region.
We’ll introduce a new service in the TvůjBus IDOL app, which is currently operating in the eastern part of the Frýdlant Peninsula. On Saturday, we’ll also activate it for the Smědava–Kořenov Train Station route, with the option of a virtual stop at the junction of the yellow hiking trail leading to the Protržená Dam.
The app will be active from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; for those interested, we’re planning departures at 10:00 a.m., 11:00, and 14:00 from Smědava toward Kořenov (upon arrival of bus line 650 from Frýdlant) and in the opposite direction at 10:30, 11:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. from Kořenov toward Smědava. The vehicle has a capacity of 8 passengers. The service costs 50 CZK per person.
