Discounts are available in July and August!

Ticket holders can claim their discount at the Liberec City Information Center, where they will receive a discount on a tour of the Liberec City Hall upon presentation of their ticket.

The Neo-Renaissance City Hall was built between 1888 and 1893 by the renowned firm Sachers and Gärtner, based on a design by the Viennese architect Franz Neumann, so it is no surprise that the building’s appearance resembles that of Vienna’s City Hall. Above the massive entrance portal, you’ll be captivated by a stone relief depicting the founding of both the old and new town halls, as well as a balustrade balcony from which many prominent figures have spoken. The 61-meter-high main tower, topped by a sculpture of a knight, is particularly interesting, but the richly decorated facades, rare stained-glass windows, and magnificent ceremonial hall—a superb example of precise craftsmanship—also deserve attention. Despite its age, the town hall therefore remains one of the most precious architectural gems of the city beneath Ještěd.

Tours of the town hall take place every hour and are organized by the Liberec City Information Center.
