Ještěd Ski Resort – The Fun Just Begins on the Chairlift

The Ještěd Ski Resort is located on the outskirts of Liberec, right next to the Horní Hanychov tram terminal. This sports complex offers activities for families with children as well as for individual athletes, both in winter and during the summer season, which runs from April through the end of October. Right at the information center, you can rent off-road scooters or e-bikes and try one of the recommended trails, which start at the upper station of the Skalka cable car. Take advantage of the great-value Funticket, which includes both rental fees and a cable car ticket. Do you prefer hiking? Take the cable car up to the Ještěd ridge and enjoy a leisurely walk to the TV transmitter and the Ještěd Hotel. From the cable car, you can admire beautiful views while enjoying the fresh air. Afterward, a leisurely walk through the forest awaits you, which will take about 30 minutes. There are plenty of hiking trails here—just take your pick.
And if you enjoy adrenaline-pumping downhill bike rides, hit one of the trails at Ještěd Bikepark— La Spaghetta or El Masacre Downhill.
