What to See in Trutnov
Historic Center and Culture Start your tour at Krakonoš Square. The square is dominated by the old town hall and impressive arcaded houses. Nature and Views Take a stroll through City Park, which was the site of the Battle of Trutnov in 1866. If you climb Šibeník Hill to the monument to General Gablenz, you’ll be rewarded with a magnificent view. How to Get There (with a Transfer)
Take a combination of train and bus. The transfer point is Dvůr Králové nad Labem.
- By train from Liberec: Take line R14A (Hradec Králové –) Jaroměř – Liberec to Dvůr Králové.
- By bus from Dvůr Králové to Trutnov:
- On weekends: Take bus line 410 to Jablonné v Podještědí – Mimoň – Doksy – Dubá – Mělník – Prague.
- On weekdays: You can take the IREDO bus line 407 (Dvůr Králové n. Lab. – Hajnice – Trutnov) or line 410.
