How to Get to the U Čápa Complex (Kořenov, Příchovice)
Thanks to the integrated fare system, you have several convenient options to choose from:
By bus: Take the direct long-distance route 900: Rokytnice nad Jizerou – Harrachov – Tanvald – Jablonec nad Nisou – Prague. This route takes you from Prague all the way to Kořenov without having to transfer. From the bus stop in Kořenov, it’s a pleasant walk of approximately 2.3 km to the resort.
By Train The L1 railway line ( Liberec – Harrachov – Szklarska Poręba Górna) provides a direct connection from Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou to Tanvald and Kořenov.
For travelers from other regions,the connecting L31line (Tanvald – Železný Brod)is important, as it provides a connection to the main Liberec–Pardubice line, significantly expanding travel options.

Štěpánka Lookout Tower (958 m above sea level) Not far from the complex, atop Hvězda Hill, stands the stone Neo-Gothic Štěpánka Lookout Tower. It offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Krkonoše Mountains, the Jizera Mountains, Zvičina Hill, Bezděz Castle, Ralsko, and the Lusatian Mountains.
Winter Activities During the winter season, the area transforms into a ski resort with five downhill runs and a children’s slope. A ski school operates here, and the resort is connected to groomed cross-country trails.
