The permanent exhibition takes you through the evolution of engraved and cut glass from the 17th century to the present. In addition to its permanent collections, the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions focused on the history and modern art of glassmaking.

- Glassmaking School: Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the local vocational school, which is the oldest of its kind in Europe.
- World-Renowned Companies: You’ll learn about the history of the famous J. & L. Lobmeyr company and the tradition of international engraved glass symposia.
- Crystal Chandeliers: You can admire a collection of period-style chandeliers and layered light fixtures. The tradition of their production in this region dates back to 1724.
The Highlight of the Exhibition: Don’t miss the glass chair. This extraordinary exhibit was crafted by the local firm Elias Palme in the last decade of the 19th century, commissioned for the Maharaja’s palace in Hyderabad, India.
