How do you get there from Liberec?

You have two great options for getting directly to the cable car:

  1. By direct bus (Weekend Relaxation) On weekends and holidays, take the direct bus line 630.
  • Departure: It leaves Liberec at 11:30 a.m.
  • Advantage: No need to transfer, and we’ll transport one pair of cross-country skis for free.
  1. By combining train and bus (Flexible Option) This option offers more frequent connections throughout the day.
  • By train: Board line L6, L61, or L62 in Liberec and travel to the Raspenava station .
  • By bus: From there , transfer to bus line 691, which will take you directly to the base of the cable car in about 30 minutes.

What awaits you at the top?

A modern gondola lift will take you to the Stóg Izerskiridge , which is the ideal starting point for your winter adventures:

  • For cross-country skiers:
    • Head toward Smědava (a pleasant trail taking just under two hours).
    • Try a longer route along the Stóg Izerski – Wielka Izera – Orle – Harrachovtrail .
  • For downhill skiers: You can ski back down the groomed slope.
  • For hikers: You can take the well-trodden trail to the summit of Smrk, for example .

How do you get back?

You can plan your return trip depending on how far you go:

Returning from Poland:

Transfer to Smědava:

  • During the season, bus 650runs every hour from Smědava to Hejniceon weekends.
  • In Hejnice, you can easily transfer to the L62train line to Liberec.

Travel to Harrachov:

  • From the train station in Harrachov, take train line L1to Liberec.
