Starting Sunday, December 12, the Mladá Boleslav region will be included in the Prague Integrated Transport System

As part of the integration, a total of 77 non-integrated routes will be discontinued, 38 new Prague Integrated Transport (PID) bus routes will be introduced, and service on 12 PID routes will be adjusted. The individual routes will be interconnected, resulting in more comprehensive and efficient service across the entire area. All operations will be monitored by the PID coordination control center. PID zone-based and time-based fares will apply on these routes, with the option to use transfer tickets and time-based passes in both paper and electronic formats, including the option to purchase a single-ride fare by credit card from the driver or via the PID Lítačka mobile app. Thanks to the PID fare system, passengers will save money, especially on regular commutes.

“It is a priority for us to make public transportation in the region as convenient as possible for residents. I am therefore very pleased that, thanks to this integration, we are bringing people in the Mladá Boleslav area not only more affordable fares but also better schedule connections. For successfully expanding the system to another part of the region, a big thank you goes not only to the transportation organizers but also to the leadership of the individual municipalities,” said Petra Pecková, Governor of the Central Bohemian Region.

“In connection with the integration of the Mladá Boleslav region, I must mention the new and fast Prague–Mladá Boleslav bus connection via the D10 highway, which is now being operated under a contract with the Central Bohemian Region. This service will consist of five new routes, all of which will depart from the Černý Most bus station, and the trip to Mladá Boleslav will take approximately 40 minutes,” said Petr Borecký, Councilor for Public Transportation of the Central Bohemian Region.

Most of the express routes will then continue beyond Mladá Boleslav, either to Mnichovo Hradiště and Liberec, to Turnov, or to Jičín. The new service concept was developed in cooperation with the Hradec Králové and Liberec Regions. “We are very pleased to be able to show passengers that the regions are capable of agreeing on mutual cooperation and connecting routes across regional borders. By joining forces, we are improving connections for residents of the Liberec and Central Bohemia Regions, as well as the capital city of Prague,” says Martin Půta, Governor of the Liberec Region. This opens up more opportunities for residents of Prague and the Central Bohemian Region to visit mountain resorts in the Jizera Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains.

“Thanks to transport integration, we are able to offer regular intervals and more frequent service on the main routes, which, combined with affordable pass options, creates a solid foundation for attracting an ever-increasing number of people to use public transportation. Regular commuters will save, for example, up to1,000 crowns a monthon the Prague–Mladá Boleslav route,” added Adam Scheinherr, Deputy Mayor of Prague and Councilor for Transportation.

“I am pleased that residents of the Mladá Boleslav region will also be able to enjoy the benefits of the Prague Integrated Transport system starting December 12—whether through the introduction of new lines, improved connections, or, for example, more affordable fares. The new routes will use the PID zone- and time-based fare system, with the option to use transfer tickets and time-based passes, including the option to purchase single-ride tickets. “We are aware of the importance of the ŠKODA AUTO plants, which is why, when drawing up the timetables for shifts to and from these plants, every effort was made to maintain direct connections,” added IDSK Director Zdeněk Šponar.

“In addition to better connections to Prague, transport integration also means a better overview of current bus operations thanks to the PID Lítačka mobile app, which can display the current status and location of each vehicle and automatically calculate the fare for the selected connection. With PID Lítačka, people can also purchase single-ride tickets and discounted pass coupons from the comfort of their own homes,” noted ROPID Director Petr Tomčík.

On interregional routes between the Central Bohemian and Liberec Regions, the PID and IDOL systems will be interconnected; and between Mladá Boleslav and Turnov, there will be an overlap: PID validity will extend into the Liberec Region, and conversely, IDOL validity will extend into the Central Bohemian Region. “Thanks to this integration, passengers will be able to use a combination of PID and IDOL time-based tickets,” emphasized Otto Pospíšil, managing director of KORID LK.

The integration of the Mladá Boleslav region brings a revolution in terms of the fast Prague–Mladá Boleslav bus service along the D10 highway, which will now be operated under contract by the Central Bohemian Region.

Five new routes— 345, 412, 700, 720, and 730— will provide rapid service between Prague and Mladá Boleslav. All routes will depart from the Černý Most bus station, and the trip to Mladá Boleslav will take approximately 40 minutes. Selected trips on Route 345 will travel via Jičínská Street in Mladá Boleslav. The basic interval between buses is 20 minutes, but during peak hours on weekdays, this interval will be shortened. In the morning, buses heading toward Prague will depart from Mladá Boleslav at 10-minute intervals; in the afternoon , buses heading in the opposite direction will run at 15-minute intervals ; during off-peak hours, the interval will be extended to 30–60 minutes.

From Mladá Boleslav, the routes will continue primarily into the Liberec and Hradec Králové regions. Route 345 is planned to run toward Liberec via Mnichovo Hradiště, Březina, and Hodkovice nad Mohelkou. Route 412 will run toward the Hradec Králové Region to Sobotka and Jičín. Routes 700, 720, and 730 will continue into the Liberec Region. Route 700 will run to Železný Brod, Tanvald, Desná, and Harrachov. Route 720 will run from Turnov via Železný Brod and Semily to Vysoké nad Jizerou. Route 730 will run from Turnov to Semily via Tatobity and on to Jilemnice and Horní Mísečky.

A new Route 315 will also operate between Prague and Mladá Boleslav, traveling from Černý Most along the D10 highway, exiting at Tuřice, and continuing through Tuřice, Předměřice n.Jiz., Benátky nad Jizero, and Brodce to Mladá Boleslav via Road II/610. It will then continue to Bakov nad Jizernou and Mnichovo Hradiště. During the morning rush hour, this line will run every 20 minutes; during the afternoon rush hour, every 30 minutes; during off-peak hours, every 60 minutes; and on weekends, every 120 minutes.

Route 315 will have several connections along its route at selected times:

• Benátky nad Jizerou, bus station –431 (toward Kochánky, Zdětín, Chotětov, Bezno), 667 (toward Brandýs n.L./Stará Boleslav), 768 (toward Kropáčova Vrutice, Horní and Dolní Slivno)
• Brodce, Sokol Hall – 418 (toward Smilovice, Luštěnice), 699 (Horky, Chotětov, Hrušov)
• Mladá Boleslav, bus station –most lines
• Bakov nad Jizerou,Trenčín –739 (Kněžmost, Bělá pod Bezdězem)
• Bakov nad Jizero, train station –715 (Ptýrov), 739 (Bělá pod Bezdězem – select connections)
• Mnichovo Hradiště, U Bažantnice –716 (Boseň)
• Mnichovo Hradiště, Town Square –most routes

The Benátky nad Jizerou area, extending northward and toward Bezno—which has not yet been integrated into the PID—involves the introduction of three new lines and adjustments to lines 418, 431, 467, and 667.

Service from Benátky toward Zdětín, Sedlec, Dolní and Horní Slivno, Kropáčova Vrutice, and Byšice will be provided by the new Line 768. In Benátky, this line will connect with the arrivals and departures of Line 315 in both directions. Several connections are available at the Kropáčova Vrutice, Střížovice stop with trains on lines S3 and R43 traveling to and from Prague. Starting with the December timetable change, the Sp 1543 Jizera will also stop at Kropáčova Vrutice, where a connection to Line 768 will also be established.

Route 418, which currently terminates in Brodce, will be extended to Horek nad Jizerou to serve the local vocational high school. A transfer to services heading toward Prague will be provided at the Brodce, Sokolovna stop.

Route 431, which currently runs between Lysá nad Labem and Předměřice nad Jizerou, will be extended via Kochánky to Benátky, where services will connect with the arrivals and departures of Line 315 in both directions; from there, they will continue via Zdětín, Chotětov, and Bezno to Borče and the local district of Žebice. Selected services will continue all the way to Skalsko. In Bezno, services will connect with Line 467 (or 767) toward Mladá Boleslav.

A new Route 767 will serve as the connection between Kropáčova Vrutice, Chotětov, and—at selected times— Horní and Dolní Slivno with Mladá Boleslav. For shuttle service to and from shifts at Škoda AUTO and for the 8:00 a.m. departure, this route will continue from Bezn to Mladá Boleslav; at other times, a transfer to Line 467 will be provided . Transport from the night shift is provided by a direct bus between routes 699 and 767 (see the section “Shuttle Service to ŠKODA AUTO”).

Connections between Kadlín, Velké Všelis, and Nemyslovice will be provided by the new Route 699, which will transport passengers from these towns to Bezn, where they will be able to transfer to Route 467 to Mladá Boleslav. The same route will connect Mladá Boleslav with Horky nad Jizerou and Hrušov. In Brodce, passengers will be able to transfer to Route 315 toward Benátky nad Jizerou and Prague. During the night and afternoon shifts, the bus will operate along the entire route except for the Bezno stop (as is currently the case with Route 260 003).

Route 467 will be significantly reinforced on the Mělnické Vtelno–Mladá Boleslav section. During peak hours, it will run every hour; during off-peak hours, every two hours.

Service between Bezno and Niměřice, Doubravička, and Strenice will be provided by Route 769, which will operate only on school days.

The connection between Brandýs nad Labem / Stará Boleslav and Benátky nad Jizerou will be provided by the extended Route 667. It will operate all day, including on weekends. It will also provide a direct connection to the Secondary Vocational School in Horky nad Jizerou. In Benátky, passengers will be able to transfer to route 315 toward Mladá Boleslav, as well as to other routes.

The backbone route connecting Bělá pod Bezdězem and Mladá Boleslav will be the new Route 737. It will run every 30 minutes during peak hours on weekdays and every 60–120 minutes during off-peak hours. It will also operate on weekends, every two hours. On weekends, most connections will link up with Route 345 toward Prague. On weekdays , there will be three pairs of direct connections from Route 345 and one pair from Route 412.

At the Čistá, hřiště stop, Line 737 will connect with Line 732, which runs from Čistá via Plužná, Březinka, and Březovice to Bezdědice. Direct buses will be provided for transportation to and from the morning and afternoon shifts, as well as from the morning shift to the 8:00 a.m. shift; in these cases, the Line 732 bus will continue from the Čistá,the playground as Route 737 to Mladá Boleslav. In other cases, passengers can use Route 712.

At the Bělá p.Bezd., nám. stop, Line 737 will provide connections to IDOL system Line 250 to Doks and Line 267 to Ralsko.

A new Route 739 will provide service between Bělá pod Bezdězem and Bakov nad Jizerou and Kněžmost. In Bakov nad Jizerou, connections will be provided to Route 315 toward Mnichovo Hradiště (from Bělá) and toward Mladá Boleslav (from Kněžmost). In Kněžmost, connections will be provided to Route 718 toward Mnichovo Hradiště or Dolní Bousov.

In addition to the S33 train line, the connection between Mladá Boleslav and Katusice will also be served by the new routes 712 and 731. Route 712, in particular, will operate (with some exceptions) exclusively in coordination with train schedules, as the bus and train stops are nearly identical. The new Route 731 will run between Mladá Boleslav and Katusice via Vinec, Rokytovec, Pětikozly, Krásná Ves, Kováň, and Spikaly. From Katusice, Route 712 will continue via Sudoměř to Březovice and then on via Březinka and Plužná to Bělá pod Bezdězem. At certain times, route 731 will also supplement service to Březovice and will additionally serve the village of Valovice.

The Mnichovo Hradiště, nám. stop will serve as the hub for the entire area. Here, connections will be provided primarily to Route 315, and at selected times also to Route 345.

The new Route 715 will supplement Route 315 at selected times for the Mnichovo Hradiště–Mladá Boleslav connection; however, unlike Route 315, Route 715 will run from Bakov nad Jizerou via Nová Ves u Bakova, Ptýrov, and Klášter Hradiště n. Jiz. It will then continue via Dneboh, Olšina, and Doubrava to Žďár. On days when Route 715 does not continue all the way to Mladá Boleslav, it will terminate at the Bakov n.Jiz., žel.st. stop, where a transfer to Route 315 toward Mladá Boleslav will be available .

Mužský, Boseň, Lhotice, Veselá, Sychrov, Podolí, and Kruhy will be served by the new Route 716. This route will again connect with Routes 315 or 345 in Mnichovo Hradiště, and in Boseň, passengers will also be able to transfer to Route 718.

The route to Český Dub will be served by the new lines 721 and 722, which will run alternately. Route 721 runs through Mohelnice nad Jizerou and Všelibice, while Route 722 runs through Klášter Hradiště, Jivina, Strážiště, Hlavice, and Cetenov.

Direct connections to Mladá Boleslav from Mimoň, Dolní Krupá, Bílá Hlína, and Klášter Hradiště will continue to be provided. These feeder services on Line 427 will serve as express connections from Mnichovo Hradiště to Mladá Boleslav, as they will travel on the D10 highway between Hradiště and Boleslav, exiting at the Zalužany ŠKODA stop. Route 427 will run from the Mladá Boleslav bus station to the area east of Mladá Boleslav, serving the Mladá Boleslav, SAS Autosystemtechnik and Mladá Boleslav, ŠKODA PC stops . Service to Rokytá and Dolní Krupá from Mnichovo Hradiště will be provided by Route 727.

New routes 733 and 734 will serve the direction toward Sezemice. The routes will operate in a similar manner to today’s routes 260 and 390, running in a loop, with the difference that the route numbers will change in Sezemice from 733 to 734 and vice versa. In Sezemice, a transfer to routes 670 and 363 (IDOL system) will be available for commuters heading to the Nechálov Elementary School or to Turnov. At the same time, route 733 will provide transportation for schoolchildren to the vocational school in Loukovec and Hubálov via a direct bus from route 715! The return trip will be provided by a direct bus connecting routes 733 and 315. One pair of trips on route 733 will also serve the “Březina, náves” stop, located in the village of Březina.

Service to Horní and Dolní Bukovina, Mukařov, and Vicmanov will be provided by the new Route 738.

Service to Turnov from Mnichovo Hradiště will be provided by the new Route 717, which will run along Road II/610, serving the villages of Březina, Loukov, Doubrava, Svijany, Příšovice, and Přepeře. The schedules are designed to coincide with the train on the same route.

The connection between Mladá Boleslav and Kněžmost will now be provided by lines 714 and 736. Both lines will run from Mladá Boleslav to Kosmonosy and on to Horní Stakory. While Route 736 will travel directly to the Kněžmost, Násedlnice stop, Route 714 will serve Dolní Stakory, Valy, and Husí Lhota. From Násedlnice, however, route 714 will travel directly via Koprník to Kněžmost, while route 736 will serve Chlumín, Lítkovice, and Žantov. From the Kněžmost, nám. stop, Line 714 runs toward Branžež, Nová Ves, and Srbsko. In the evening, service is extended all the way to Dobšín. Route 736 from Kněžmost runs via Čížovka, Kamenice, Dobšín, Přepeře, and Horní Bousov to Dolní Bousov. Except for select time slots, services on both lines run alternately. On school days, Line 714 will be extended from Srbsko via Libošovice to Sobotka. Morning services on both lines to Mladá Boleslav will not go to the Mladá Boleslav, aut.st. stop, but will serve the following stops: Václava Klementa, Na výstavišti, U Sportu, nám. Republiky, and Jičínská.

At the Kněžmost, nám. stop, most services on both lines will offer a transfer to Line 718 in both directions. Route 718 runs from Mnichovo Hradiště via Boseň, Kněžmost, Obruby, and Dolní Bousov to Sobotka. In Sobotka, passengers will always be able to transfer to Line 406 in the direction of Jičín; the same will apply in the opposite direction. In the morning, passengers will be able to transfer between Lines 718 and 713 in Obruby. It will also be possible to transfer to Line 713 in Sobotka at select times. At the Mnichovo Hradiště, Transport Terminal stop, passengers will be able to transfer to a train bound for Turnov or Mladá Boleslav at select times.

Connections between Mladá Boleslav and the towns along Road I/16 toward Sobotka will now be provided by routes 713 and 725. Both routes will run from Mladá Boleslav along Road I/16 to the Obrubce stop (main road), from where Route 713 will continue toward Obruby, Přepeře, Horní Bousov, Osek, and Sobotka, while Route 725 will proceed toward Bechov, Rohatsko, Dolní Bousov, Zelenecká Lhota, and Markvartice. Both routes will provide transportation for ŠKODA Auto employees to all shifts. At the Sobotka, nám. stop, passengers on Route 713 will be able to transfer to Route 412 toward Jičín at selected times. On school days, selected trips on Route 725 will continue from Markvartice on to Sobotka.

Routes 723 and 724 will now provide service between Mladá Boleslav and Libáň. Both routes will run from Mladá Boleslav along Highway I/16 to Židněves, from where Route 723 will take the southern route via Březno and Domousnice, and Route 724 will take the northern route via Sukorady, Dlouhá Lhota, Petkovy, Řitonice, Domousnice, and Veselice. Route 723 will continue from Libáň all the way to Kopidlno. An alternative route will also be introduced, whereby some trips will continue from the Březno stop to Lhotky, where they will terminate. At certain times, these services will run all the way to Mladá Boleslav; however, at most times, a transfer to the line of the same name will be provided. Selected services on Line 724 will serve Březno (to coordinate with Line 723 or to transport schoolchildren) and Martinovice (to transport schoolchildren). Route 723 will also operate on weekends, and on Sundays, Route 724 will also run, primarily to transport employees to ŠKODA Auto.

Route 726 will provide service between Mladá Boleslav and Březen, Nová Telibí, and Kobylnice as a replacement for the canceled Route 260 980. The schedules have been adjusted, and the requested afternoon detour to Dolánky has been added. At the same time, a pair of afternoon trips has also been added.

Route 735 will provide service between Dolní Bousov and Skyšice, Řitonice, Domousnice, and Rabakov. From Rabakov, it will continue on to Dětenice, Libáň, and Kopidlno. The service schedule will closely mirror that of the current Line 260 080. A transfer will be provided at the Domousnice train station to and from Line 724 to Veselice.

Route 163220 will be discontinued. It will be replaced by Route 403 on the route Prague, Černý Most – Benátky nad Jizerou – Luštěnice – Dobrovice – Prodašice – Dolní Bousov – Sobotka. There will be four round trips on weekdays and two round trips on weekends. However, some trips do not run the entire route. Along the route, there will be connections to lines 416 and 417 in Dobrovice and from line 418 in Luštěnice.

Shuttle Service to ŠKODA AUTO Plants

When drawing up the schedules, every effort was made to maintain direct connections to and from shifts at ŠKODA AUTO in Mladá Boleslav. To conserve vehicles and drivers, particularly during the evening hours, the following measures are in effect:

• Transport from the night shift to Kropáčova Vrutice, Horní Slivno, and Dolní Slivno is provided by routes 699 and 767 without the need to transfer. The bus will operate as part of route 699 to the Chotětov stop and, from Chotětov, as part of route 767 all the way to Dolní Slivno.
• For connections between Plužné and Březinky during the afternoon shift and to and from the night shift, there will be no direct bus on route 732; instead, route 731 will be used, which will also operate without a transfer.
• Transport from Lhotky to the morning shift and from the morning shift will be provided with a transfer in Březno between Line 723 services; for other shifts , passengers must use the Lhotky, křižovatka stop.
• Due to vehicle scheduling, it is possible that after the night shift, services may need to begin as early as 6:15 or 6:20 a.m.
